- Itinerary
Hotel pick up in the early morning( 7:00am, 7:30am or 8:00am, the early the better, if you really don’t like crowds and queue.)
Drive 1.5-2 hours to reach the Great Wall which is 76KM away from the city center.
Take the shuttle bus for about 4 minutes from the tourists center to the entrance of the Great Wall
Take the chairlift up mountain to reach the entrance of the Great Wall near the No. 6 watchtower. Enjoy your hiking for 1.5-2hours.
After the Wall, drive around 10 minutes to the nice restaurant for local restaurant near the Great Wall
After lunch drive 1 hour to the 13 emperors’ Tombs of Ming dynasty, tour the one of them about 40 minutes.
(Changling for the surface palace which is a museum for treasures excavated from Ding Tomb.
Dingling for the underground palace where emperor’s and empresses’ coffins were buried)
